They had a totally different perspective on the hands after reading Brandalyn\u2019s remarks.\n</p><p>More than 160,000 people have shared this image.\n</p><p>On Facebook, the picture and its caption were shared more than 160,000 times.\n</p><p>While we were discussing color options, I painted a new resident\u2019s nails today at work, and she said that she wanted clear. \u201cCLEAR!\u201d was the only thing that sprung to mind. That isn\u2019t enjoyable.\n</p><p>\u201cMy hands are ugly, and I don\u2019t want to draw attention to them,\u201d she stated when I asked her why she wanted clear. \u201cYour hands tell the story of your life,\u201d I said thoughtfully in response. They narrate tales of adventure, love, and caring. These hands have held and touched things that most people can only hope to experience in their lifetime.
