She\u2019s an ordinary 11-year-old girl with one uncommon diagnosis: Morquio syndrome. In short, Bella\u2019s condition means that her mobility is steadily deteriorating over the years, and there\u2019s no way for her to get it back.\n</p><div class='\"entry-content\"'>\n<div class='\"entry-content\"'>\n<p>A few years ago, her family was given an explanation as to exactly what would happen: Eventually, their daughter will not be able to walk around herself.\n</p><p>But the family refused to give up hope.\n</p><p>That\u2019s when George came into the picture \u2026 and Bella\u2019s life changed forever.\n</p><p>Bella and George are the best of friends. He\u2019s her service dog, and gives her the ability to go wherever she wants by helping her to walk. On his back is a harness that reads \u201cservice dog\u201d and \u201cdo not pet\u201d.\n</p><p>As a result of his duties, George has become something of a hero for Bella \u2013 the two are literally almost inseparable.\n</p><p>One day, Bella decided that it was time her faithful companion was given a little time off. She wanted to give back to him, as he gives so much to her.\n</p><p>Bella\u2019s family contacted\u00a0BarkPost\u00a0\u2013 a popular website that organise something called a \u201cDog\u2019s Best Day\u201d. After hearing Bella\u2019s story, the group offered to give George his \u201cbest day\u201d ever.\n</p><p>Bella planned plenty of fun things for the two of them to do together. She wanted to show just how much she appreciates everything George does, so the pair ate burgers together and played around in the snow, just as George likes to do.\n</p><div class='\"wp-block-image\"'>\n<figure class='\"aligncenter' size-full is-resized><figcaption class='\"wp-element-caption\"'><img loading='\"lazy\"' decoding='\"async\"' class='\"entered' lazyloaded src="%5C%22https:%5C/%5C/i.ytimg.com%5C/vi%5C/Z9vSU1Yb_7A%5C/hqdefault.jpg%5C%22" alt='\"\"' width='\"480\"' height='\"360\"' data-lazy-src='\"https:\/\/i.ytimg.com\/vi\/Z9vSU1Yb_7A\/hqdefault.jpg\"' data-ll-status='\"loaded\"'>\n\n<p>Thanks to George, Bella can move about without the help of a wheelchair. She loves the freedom this gives her, and being with George has given her a new best friend.\n</p><p>Below, you can see the footage from when George had his \u201cDog\u2019s Best Day\u201d.\n</p><p>As Bella describes in her own words: \u201cGeorge is joyful and he\u2019s always happy, and he\u2019s always there to cheer you up.
